At Internshala, the Product Design team shapes the entire visual and interaction experience across our product. We are looking for a Digital Illustrator Intern to join us in crafting delightful visuals that engage and inspire. This role blends creativity and consistency; you'll work on everything from in-product illustrations, characters, and icons to marketing banners, landing pages, mailers, and motion graphics.
What will you do?
- Collaborate with other designers to develop a scalable design framework for illustrations and marketing creatives
- Create original illustrations, icons, banners, and other graphics for the product and branding campaigns
- Translate briefs into visually compelling concepts by understanding marketing/business needs and context
- Occasionally contribute to motion graphics/animations for product and marketing use
- Maintain design consistency and high-quality visual standards across all assets
What are we looking for?
- A creative person with a strong sense of aesthetics and attention to detail
- Comfortable creating both vector (Illustrator, Figma) and raster (Photoshop) designs
- Curious and driven, with the ability to translate abstract ideas into clear visuals
- Proficient in design tools like Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and a bonus if you know After Effects or similar tools for animations
- An impressive portfolio demonstrating your skills. Bonus if you have prior experience in design
